DECLUTTER

What does it mean exactly, to de-clutter your body, mind and home?
So often in our lives, we want change. We search for the right way to make the desired change to happen. We know that to let go of old patterns we have to install new ones. Often, we can do it for a length of time, but we fall back to the same-old, same-old too soon.

When I was thinking about creating this approach, it was clear to me that these changes have to happen on different layers in our lives. What does that mean?

De-clutter your body.
We have our body with us all day. In our society we pay so much attention to how we look. Many people judge themselves when they don’t have the desired body weight or shape.

Then there is our health. We hear all the time that what we eat is what we are. Even if we believe in that statement, we still often have a hard time eating the right food.

I am not a big believer in diets. But I do think that we can find the best food for our own system. When I started practicing yoga I also learned about what is right for me and what is not. How we exercise and what we gain from our efforts is very important.

Yoga does help to make the whole human body function better. Practicing asanas, breath and learning about ourselves makes a huge impact in our everyday lives.

De-clutter your mind.
It goes hand in hand with yoga but what it means is meditation. Today, there are dozens of apps that help us get into the habit of practicing. But we still have a perception that it is too difficult and takes too much time.

Searching for the right method and sticking with it is the goal. I’d love to help you on that journey or if you are on it already, to deepen the practice.

De-clutter your home.
I’ve been fascinated with this subject for many years. As a child I loved to do it in my parent’s home, and then I had to face the fact that I still collected much more than I needed throughout my last thirty years.
Moving very often helped me to learn how little I really need.

This is not an easy journey but very effective. Going through the home and recognizing what we use, love or just keep is a very exciting and liberating experience. The freedom and lightness, the liberation and extra energy that we get when we learn to let go of something that we don’t need or use anymore, teaches us a lot about ourselves and gives us an opportunity to focus on what we are here for.

So, that whole experience requires our work together for a few weeks.

Every week incorporates a couple of yoga practices and meditations where we establish an everyday practice designed for you. In the meantime, we are systematically going through the home and recognizing what is important. This gives us the opportunity to go home to a place where we feel that our energy can recharge, and clutter and dirt is not taking our life energy away from us.

I’d love to help you on this journey and create a safe and non judgmental environment for you, so you can find the answers for your questions and go on your journey. That gives you an opportunity to live the life that you want in your heart, instead of what you think is what people or society or the culture wants you to live.

When we are aligned with our true nature and learn to listen to our inner guide, we don’t harm ourselves or each other, and our family and friends and colleagues will benefit as well.
